John Lennon was born on the 9th of October 1940 et unfortunnatly murdered on Decembrer the 8th, 1980. Member of The Beatles, he was also a song-witer.
Lennon revealed a rebellious nature and acerbic wit in his music, his writing, on film, and in interviews, and became controversial through his work as a peace activist.
He was murdered even before my birth but it he will always be rembered by he good music and his anti-war acts. 
On his birthday, his wife, Yoko Ono, will relight the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland in memory of her late husband John Lennon.

To finish, this is my favourite Lennon's song, Image.This song speaks to me and I keep imagining that one day wars will end, Palestine and Al' Qods will be free and people will be less selfish.But I guess I'm a dream and John Lennon wasn't the only one.
